This Refund Policy applies to purchases of the commercial Windows website downloader program (the "Product") provided through the website by MONOCREAT ("we," "us," or "our"). Payments for the Product are processed through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for the transaction.
Refunds for the Product are handled in accordance with Paddle's Refund Policy, the terms applicable to your transaction, and mandatory consumer-protection law in your country. Paddle, as Merchant of Record, makes the final decision on refunds.
We do not offer a separate refund guarantee beyond those rights. Each request is reviewed individually under Section 3; nothing in this Policy reduces any statutory right to cancel, withdraw, or receive a refund.
Refund requests go directly to Paddle, the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Use Paddle Buyer Support (paddle.net) or the link in your Paddle payment confirmation email, and have ready:
If you cannot use Paddle Buyer Support, you may email [email protected] with the same details and we will help you reach Paddle. Please do not submit duplicate requests for the same transaction through multiple channels.
Do not send us your password, full payment card number, or card security code (CVC/CVV).
Paddle reviews and decides refund requests under its refund policy, the terms applicable to your transaction, and applicable law. Where Paddle or a customer asks us to confirm a transaction or a product issue, we respond in good faith and as promptly as we reasonably can; we do not set a separate guaranteed processing period.
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method. We do not issue separate refunds by cash, bank transfer, or any other payment method. Where a refund to the original payment method is not possible, Paddle may advise or process an alternative method permitted by applicable law and card-network rules.
Once Paddle approves a refund, the time required for it to appear on your statement or account depends on your card issuer, bank, PayPal, or other payment provider, and your country — this processing time is outside our control or guarantee. Currency-conversion movements or fees charged by your own financial institution may also cause the amount shown in your account to differ from the original charge in your local currency; unless applicable law requires otherwise, we do not separately compensate for this difference.
When the full purchase price of an annual subscription or a perpetual license is refunded and the refund is approved, the usage rights arising from that purchase end. Our server processes the refund information confirmed by Paddle and withdraws those rights, and the Product reflects this through its online license check. Transmitting and confirming refund information can take time, so deactivation is not always instantaneous.
A purchase whose rights have ended cannot be used again by signing in again or reactivating it. Purchases you make and pay for afresh, and any other valid purchase rights, are recognized separately. Where only a specific period of an annual subscription is refunded, we process the rights for that period only.
The scope of any license adjustment for a partial refund is determined and communicated to you based on the refunded items, the reason, Paddle's decision, and applicable law. A tax correction or price adjustment alone does not cancel all usage rights. A partial refund granted on the condition that use ends is processed within the scope communicated to you.
Withdrawing usage rights does not mean remotely deleting files you have already saved on your PC. Even where paid features are restricted, sign-in, support, and repurchase guidance remain available. You must not circumvent license restrictions after deactivation.
Beyond our legal obligations, the voluntary refund benefit that UWD may provide is limited to one per customer, counting annual subscriptions and perpetual licenses together. After receiving a refund under this benefit you may purchase again, but repurchasing does not reset this eligibility, and we do not provide a second voluntary refund benefit to a customer who has already received one.
This limit is not a promise that a first request will be approved; each request is reviewed on its reasons and the circumstances of the transaction. A single refund case counts as one benefit even if it is paid or notified in several parts. Where a partial refund is provided as UWD's voluntary benefit, that case may count as the one benefit, and we will say so in the decision.
This limit does not restrict statutory rights of withdrawal, cancellation, or refund; legal remedies for a material defect in the Product; correction of erroneous or duplicate charges; or refunds that Paddle approves under applicable rules or its own judgment. Refunds made solely to correct tax do not count toward the voluntary benefit.
Cancelling future automatic renewals is separate from refunding a payment already made; cancelling renewal alone does not refund the paid period in progress. Where a refund ends the current annual period, we also confirm that the subscription's future charges stop. Repurchasing after a refund gives you the rights of the new transaction; we do not reactivate the refunded transaction, and purchase history is not deleted to reset voluntary-refund eligibility.
Refund requests are intended for customers who purchase the Product in good faith. To the extent applicable law allows, we or Paddle may deny a refund request or require additional verification where:
Simply having used or downloaded with the Product does not by itself disqualify a refund request. Nor do the limitations above unduly restrict a fraudulent-payment report, the rights of a payment-method owner, or rights available under applicable consumer-protection law.
If you have already filed a chargeback, your card issuer's and Paddle's dispute procedures may take priority. A refund and a chargeback will not both be paid out for the same transaction.
In addition to Paddle's refund policy, we will separately review a request, in accordance with applicable law, where:
Paddle is the Merchant of Record responsible for payment processing, tax calculation, receipts, and refunds. Refunds may accordingly be processed through Paddle's payment systems, terms, and related procedures.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits mandatory consumer-protection law that applies to you, any right or obligation that Paddle must provide or perform, or any statutory right to cancel, withdraw, or receive a refund. If this Policy conflicts with applicable law or Paddle's obligations, the applicable law or mandatory requirement that gives you the stronger right prevails.
This Policy applies to Products purchased directly from our website through Paddle. If you purchased through a third-party marketplace, app store, or reseller, that seller's refund policy and legal obligations may apply instead — please contact that seller.
Changes to this Policy are posted on our website. Absent a separate legal basis, we do not retroactively and adversely reduce the refund rights of a purchase completed before a change takes effect.
